molasses cake

2 sticks of oleo
4 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar
Mix together with 2 forks and then remove 3/4 cup and set aside

Mix 1 cup Grandmas Baking Molasses
with 2 cups boiling water
then add 1 tablespoon baking soda
Add this to the crumb mixture and mix with a wire whisk

Mixture will be very thin
Pour into a 13 x 9 greased and floured pan
Put 3/4 cup of crumbs on cake

Bake about 45 minutes in oven at 350 degrees.
